The Pan Pacific Masters Games has evolved and grown in size since its inaugural event as the “World Masters Games” in 1985. Now known as the Pan Pacific Masters Games and held biannually on the Gold Coast, this unmissable multi-sport event on one of Queensland’s favourite destinations is a must for athletes and sports fans all over Australia.
Every two years over 13,000 people flock to the Gold Coast to take part in the Pan Pacific Masters Games, with more than 30 countries competing during its 10-day program.
There’s a sport for everyone at the Pan Pacific Masters Games, which include Athletics, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Diving, Equestrian, Football, Golf, Hockey, Rowing, Judo, Lawn Bowls, Mountain Bike, Rugby, Sailing, Shooting, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tenpin Bowling and more.
Several locations will be used as venues for the 2018 Pacific Masters Games, such as the brand new Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium, Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre, HOTA, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, and popular tourist beaches such as Mermaid Beach and Kurrawa Beach.
