Happening near our Burleigh Heads resort accommodation this spring is the 2018 Gold Coast Classic Ocean Race, an exciting event that will see competing paddlers make their way along the scenic Gold Coast from Southport to Tallebudgera. Presented by the Gold Coast Ocean Paddlers Club, the 2018 Gold Coast Classic Ocean Race is an unmissable event for passionate paddlers from all over the region
All events at the 2018 Gold Coast Ocean Race will include Ocean Ski, Stand Up, Prone, and Outrigger paddling. Participants can embark on two courses this year: a northbound course from Southport to Tallebudgera Beach, and a southbound course from Kirra Beach to Snapper Rocks.
Paddlers on the Gold Coast and surrounding areas of Queensland are invited to take part, and spectators are welcome to come along to cheer and watch the action unfold. Cash prizes and prize packs will be awarded to the winners, so don’t miss who comes out on top.
